Robert Logrippo is an artist featured at the Simpsonville Fine Art Gallery. Born in New York City, he attended the High School of Music and Art and later studied at the School of Visual Arts. Throughout his career, he has worked in illustration for major book and magazine publishers, specializing in children’s books, calendars, promotional materials, posters, and record album covers. His fantasy artwork for paperbacks has become quite collectible. For over 25 years, Robert’s fine art has been showcased in galleries throughout New York City. He has also taught at prestigious institutions such as Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute, and participated in Furman University’s Continuing Education Program. Robert enjoyed serving as the Art School Director for the Spartanburg Art Museum, located on the campus of the Chapman Cultural Center, for many years in South Carolina.
